The same standards
we apply to your data, we apply to ours.

Marxen builds AI that keeps client data inside the client's walls. We hold ourselves to the same discipline with the personal data you share with us. This policy explains how, in plain language.

  1. § 01

What this policy covers. And what it does not.

This policy describes how Marxen Private Limited ("Marxen", "we", "us") handles personal data on marxen.in and across our direct business interactions — enquiries, proposals, contracts, hiring conversations, and the support relationships we hold with our clients.

It does not cover client deployments. When Marxen deploys an AI system inside a client's infrastructure — a hospital, a law firm, a university, a government department, a bank — that system processes the client's data on the client's own servers, under the client's own privacy policy. We do not become a data fiduciary for the client's data by virtue of building the system.

  2. § 02

What we collect. Only what the conversation requires.

We collect personal data in three contexts: when you contact us, when we engage commercially, and when we publish or operate this site.

    • Contact form submissions — name, organisation, email, industry, engagement type, and the free-text description of the project you choose to share.
    • Commercial engagement records — name, designation, contact details, organisation details, and the contractual paperwork required to deliver and invoice a project.
    • Hiring conversations — your CV, portfolio, references you provide, and the notes our team writes during the process.
    • Operational telemetry from marxen.in — aggregated server logs sufficient for security and reliability, with IP addresses retained briefly for that purpose and not used to build a profile of you.
  3. § 03

What we do with it. And what we do not.

We use the data you share with us to respond to your enquiry, deliver the project we agreed to deliver, fulfil our legal and tax obligations, and operate this website. Nothing else.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertising networks. We do not use it to train Marxen models. We do not build a profile of you across the web. The same standards we apply to client data, we apply to ours.

  4. § 04

Where the data lives. On Indian infrastructure.

Personal data shared with Marxen is stored and processed in India. Where we use third-party services for operational purposes — email, document storage, version control — we select providers that allow Indian-region storage, and we configure them accordingly. Where we cannot, we minimise the personal data that touches them.

We do not transfer your personal data to any country with a weaker data-protection regime than the one you are reading this policy from.

  5. § 05

Your rights under DPDP. Plain language.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its Rules, you have the right to know what we hold about you, to ask for it to be corrected, to ask for it to be erased when the lawful purpose is exhausted, to withdraw consent you previously gave, and to nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.

To exercise any of these rights, write to info@marxen.in. We will respond within two working days and complete the request within the timelines the law requires.

  6. § 06

How long we keep it. Only as long as the purpose holds.

Enquiry data is retained for as long as it takes to determine whether an engagement will proceed and, if it does, for the lifetime of that engagement plus the statutory record-keeping period that follows. Hiring data is retained for the active conversation and, with your permission, for a future role match. Operational logs are retained briefly for security and reliability.

When the purpose is exhausted and the law no longer requires us to keep the data, we delete it.

  7. § 07

How we secure it. By design, not by claim.

We use industry-standard transport encryption for data in transit and at-rest encryption for data we store. Access is on a need-to-know basis, and every administrative action on systems holding personal data is logged. We do not run AI models on enquiry text — your message is read by a human at Marxen, and that is it.

If a security incident affects your personal data, we will notify you within the timelines the law specifies and tell you what we know and what we are doing about it.

  8. § 08

Cookies and analytics. We use almost none.

This site uses cookies only where strictly necessary for the site to function. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. We do not run third-party analytics that build a profile of your browsing.

If we add analytics in the future, it will be a privacy-preserving, self-hosted solution disclosed here before it goes live.

  9. § 09

Children's data. We do not knowingly process it.

Marxen does not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has shared personal data with us, contact info@marxen.in and we will delete it.

  10. § 10

Changes to this policy. Materially announced.

We will update this page if our practices change. Material changes will be flagged on this page and, where appropriate, communicated to clients we are actively working with.

  11. § 11

    How to reach us. Plainly.

Write to info@marxen.in for any privacy question, request, or concern. Address: Marxen Private Limited, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
